To veterans from NVIC Advocacy,
" If you are a veteran or have friends or loved ones who are veterans, there is currently a bill moving through the US Senate concerning veterans and vaccines." NVIC Advocacy is tracking this bill on the portal at www.nvicadvocacy.org Sec. 101 of Senate Bill 1203, named the 21st Century Veterans Benefits Delivery Act, states that the Department of Veterans Affairs will be tasked with the mandate to, “ensure that veterans receiving medical services under chapter 17 of title 38, United States Code, receive each immunization on the recommended adult immunization schedule at the time such immunization is indicated on that schedule.” -- If passed as it stands, this bill has the potential to force veterans into getting a vaccine they may not want in order to receive medical services*. -- An entire group of individuals, those who at one time were in military service, will lose their inherent right to opt out of receiving what is considered prophylactic treatment. -- It is believed that those who refuse will, under this Bill, lose their VA medical benefits. "VACCINES AND VETERANS — MANDATES AND PENDING LEGISLATION" Anita Stewart, Member of Veterans for Peace USAF, Strategic Air Command 1981–85. November 10, 2015 https://medium.com/@AnitaStewart/vaccines-and-veterans-mandates-and-pending-legislation-9da6312a80b0#.5phmtkdg0 About Anita Stewart: "I am not an “anti-vaxxer” and do not bow to that inaccurate term that the Medical Industrial Complex and Big Pharma uses. I am a concerned citizen, a veteran, a widow of a military member and I come from a military family. I am for informed consent and I am pro-choice regarding what happens to my body... I earned that right. I gave up 4 years of my life to have that right. I am attempting to assure that others have that right." *Related news, if flu shots become mandatory for veterans: NVIC Press Release protesting FDA fast-track approval of squalene adjuvant for seniors age 65+: http://www.nvic.org/NVIC-Vaccine-News/September-2015/FDA-Fast-Tracks- Adjuvanted-Influenza-Vaccines.aspx About NVIC (National Vaccine Information Center): http://www.nvic.org/about.aspx Related Autoimmune Technologies research reporting: http://www.autoimmune.com/GWSGen.html About Autoimmune Technologies: http://www.autoimmune.com/about.html "A great number of studies done by independent laboratories and research institutions all found a strong link between MF-59 squalene and autoimmune diseases". Canary Party reports the status on its proposed S.1203 amendments,
intended to ensure US veterans do not lose informed consent regarding vaccinations -- Without such clarification, there is a perceived potential for misuse of the S.1203 mandated, 'Secretary of Veterans Affairs Report'. Read the text of letters between Canary Party and Sen. Dean Heller in late November: Posted December 21, 2015 http://www.canaryparty.org/the-news/102-will-s-1203-result-in-vaccine-mandates-for-u-s-veterans About the Canary Party: http://www.canaryparty.org/principles Excerpts from above article (highlighting and underlining are mine): "....While S. 1203 DOES NOT mandate vaccines, The Canary Party is concerned that the report that is mandated could be written as to include coercive means of gaining compliance with the aggressive adult schedule that can add more than 100 doses of vaccines, on top of those given in childhood, to a veteran living to the average U.S. life expectancy of 78." "As such, the Canary Party contacted a member of Sen. Heller’s Veterans Advisory Committee to encourage amendments to the bill, drafted by our organization and National Health Freedom Action, which would close this potential avenue for robbing those who have served our country of their medical informed consent. He, in turn, has submitted them to Sen. Heller." "Sen. Heller responded by offering assurances that he supported the rights of former service men and women to informed consent, but did not signal that he would work to amend the bill." "We encourage anyone concerned that this report may be misused (to mandate vaccinations) to contact the members of the subcommittee and express their thoughts, and encourage their legislators to adopt the language that has been offered." Subcommitte's contact information: https://armedservices.house.gov/index.cfm?p=MilitaryPersonnel "We also encourage veterans and those who love them to remain vigilant on this matter, so when the report is issued by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, it does not include measures that would coerce former servicemen in any way." |

https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/senate-bill/1203 The amendment does not address section on vaccines. "The bill was referred to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs, and in addition to the Committees on Armed Services, Education and the Workforce, and the Budget, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned." |
